Frequently asked questions
Q. Do your leads, collars and harnesses adhere to UK regulations?
A. Sadly the UK pet product market is not currently legislated, and no standards of care are in place for ensuring products are suitable for use. But rest assured, as I have many years of experience with working with dogs, I have seen pretty much every terribly designed collar, lead and harness available out there. Which has enabled me to hone my products to ensure they do what they are supposed to, and keep you and your hound safe.
Q. Are your collars, leads and harnesses washable?
A. Yes, absolutely!
Some of the materials I use are delicate so extra care must be taken with these. But all of my items are hand washable using hand hot water with non bio washing powder or liquid. Soak for 10 minutes, then gently rub with your fingers or a soft cloth to dislodge any dirt.
Harnesses and any plain webbing items can be placed in a tied up pillow case, and washed on a gentle, cool wash in your machine.
Q. Can I get a refund on my item?
A. Unfortunately, due to items being made to order, and made to fit your specific hound, refunds are not issued, unless there is a fault with the product, or you have received the wrong item, due to a mistake on my part. Please make sure you have ordered the correct size, style and design that you wish to receive.
Q. How quickly will my items be dispatched?
A. As items are handmade once your order and payment is received, it may be up to seven working days before your order is sent out. Although I always aim to send orders out asap, so it will more than likely be just a couple of days, sometimes even same day before being dispatched.
Q. How do I measure my dog for a collar or harness?
A. Please see the page titled "How To Measure My Dog".
Q. Can I cancel my order?
A. You will need to contact us to let us know you want to cancel an order already placed. If your item has already been made for you, unfortunately your order cannot be cancelled, as each item is made to your size and specification, therefore would be difficult to re sell.
